By providing all prior known incidents, and currently active incidents, that originated from the caller's given phone number or address, related incidents allow telecommunicators to reduce redundant questions and give clear, critical context to responders in the field, instantly.
The functionality runs automatically within 5 seconds of receiving phone or address. Related incidents match if…
- The phone number is an exact match
- The given address is an exact match or “approximate match” (within ~500 ft radius).
- The exact distance will be shown for location matches
The telecommunicator will see results for both ongoing and past calls, critical for when multiple calls simultaneously originate from the same location. Results are shown in a collapsible panel, with the most recent appearing first.
