Prepared Launches Customer Advisory Board to Help Drive Innovation

New York, NY, August 15, 2023 - Prepared today announced the formation of its Customer Advisory Board, a group of forward-thinking public safety professionals who will help chart the course of the company’s innovation as it continues its mission to revolutionize emergency response.

Over the last two years, Prepared has helped save lives nationwide by constantly seeking feedback from customers and advisors spread across public safety disciplines. By actively seeking input from telecommunicators, officers, firefighters, EMS professionals and volunteers, and Chiefs, the company has ensured that they are solving real problems at the core of each profession. The Customer Advisory Board brings Prepared’s customer-centric philosophies to the fore, further ensuring that product development and business initiatives align with the needs of the customers.

“I’ve always wanted Prepared to be the most customer-centric company in public safety,” said Michael Chime, CEO of Prepared, “I believe that we achieve that mission in two ways: consistently soliciting customer feedback and executing on that feedback with urgency and a clear focus on solving the customer's problems."

The inaugural Customer Advisory Board includes:

Scott T. Appleby, CEM, Director of the Office of Emergency Management & Homeland Security (City of Bridgeport)

Scott Calderwood, Director (El Paso County 911 District)

Jeff Carney, Executive Director (Hamilton County 911 Emergency Communications District)

Kimberly Culp, Chief Executive Officer (Larimer Emergency Telephone Authority)

Jessica Loos, 911 Communications Manager (Lincoln Police Department)

Anthony Mignogna, Chief of Communications (Delaware County Emergency Services)

Ken Stewart, 911 Communications Director (Tulsa County Sheriff’s Office)

Doug Workman, 911 Center Manager (Cary Emergency Communications Center)

“I’ve always wanted Prepared to be the most customer-centric company in public safety,” said Michael Chime, CEO of Prepared, “I believe that we achieve that mission in two ways: consistently soliciting customer feedback and executing on that feedback with urgency and a clear focus on solving the customer's problems."

Board members gathered alongside Prepared executives for the inaugural meeting earlier this month to discuss the company’s product roadmap and long-term vision. Members shared invaluable insights on the future of media in emergency response and ways to leverage technology to combat the current staffing crisis.

“Prepared is on a mission to transform emergency response to increase the safety of our responders and community members,” said Madeline Mariuzza, Head of Go-to-Market at Prepared. “To do this, we need a deep understanding of the challenges our customers face every day in the 9-1-1 center and in the field. The Customer Advisory Board allows us to grow our understanding of the customer while building a lifelong community of individuals dedicated to improving emergency response.”
